I {Heart} Chicago!

Hey everyone,

Home again and the calendar says we have one month until Jamie and Dan’s wedding day!  Yikes!

My three daughters and I had a four day weekend in Chicago where one of my daughter’s lives.  Until Emily moved there, I didn’t know much about this gorgeous city.

We walked to the Renegade Craft Fair and saw such unique crafts.

I picked up lots of business cards with Etsy addresses!

I just had to capture pictures of this young “Frenchman”??  His basket was even complete with a baguette.

Some of us got mini makeovers and made a few purchases.  We do have a wedding to get ready for ~~ don’t you know?  :)

We shopped and we thrifted

And then we shopped some more

We kept saying over and over how much we loved being there.  So much to see, so much to do, great food and beautiful flowers everywhere we looked.

Angie had to leave several hours before Jamie and I to get back to work.

A great time was had by all.

Thank You Emily for being a super hostess.

Chicago is a fun city isn't it? I lived outside of Milwaukee for a short time and we were able to make a few trips to Chicago.
Looks like you all were having a great time.

Hi sweetie, yes it has been a very long time. What fun you girls must have had. I'm sure with your touches the wedding is going to be beautiful. There have been a lot of changes going on around here, and more to come, I look forward to sharing those with you as soon as a few more things come together... hugs ~lynne~

Shopping in Chicago, does it get any better than that? I think not. A little bit of everything and I'm sure you and your girls made the most of your time together. What a beautiful family you have Donna.
