Black and White

Isn’t there just something so Crisp and Clean about Black and White?

black and white 014

It somehow has a soothing feel to it….a nice look for our upcoming Summer months.

Today I am enjoying participating with Tam at The Gypsy’s Corner, showing Three or more of my black and white dishes.

The first bowl shown is a favorite of mine.  I purchased it from Nell Hill’s in Atchinson, Kansas.

Below is another favorite (Okay, I guess they are all favorites!)

This one I found at an antique store in Belhaven, NC.

Loved that store, and it has now gone out of business.

Aren’t the little flower bouquets precious?

And can you see the little handles on this platter?

Love it!

The next black and white is a toile plate I found at

TJ Maxx.

Do go over and visit Tam and see what others have come up with today.

Lovely! I especially like that sweet platter -- love the little black handles.

Cat's pretty sweet, too! Nice that you have color coordinated your pet with your dishes. :-)

Which came first? The black and white kitty or the black and white chair? He looks very tired and he needs his rest. Shhh.
Black and white are just so classic and I am usually wearing just that except for when I throw in the bright red. Lovely post.

One day I looked in my closet and realized that nearly everything was black or white. So..I began to use other colors..but nothing is quite like black and white. Always works..always good.
So..I am using it again. Your things are beautiful. Tomorrow I had decided to try another one of the "special" day that bloggers do and I needed a favorite I began to go back, and back and back. Then I found my self at the begining. I found my very first post..with NO comments of course. Then the next one...and there was ONE comment. There had been two..but the other person deleted theirs. What ever the case...yours was the one that I read and could have cried. You encouraged me, said you were still trying to figure things out yourself and that I could do this. Your comment helped me to keep going.
Donna..THANK YOU! I get lost in trying to "keep up." But I just wanted you to know...that I thank you SO much!
~Love and smiles~
