More Fall to Love

I'm not quite sure when white pumpkins came into vogue, but don't you just love them? I especially love them mixed in with traditional orange and brown...just so soothing. I am still enjoying and relishing the beautiful season of fall even though the tv and other forms of media would like you to think we are in the Christmas mode already.
Let me introduce Maggie, my best friend who follows me around the house all day. She manages to keep her girlish figure even though she just turned 11. Don't you just love this little picture of her peeking under the glass dome? This little frame is one of my favorites for fall. It's metal with little leaves on it.
A good friend of mine who lives far, far away came to town yesterday. We had the best time together. Soon I will show you a picture of yet another chair I found. It is fabulous! I'm so excited about it.
Until then....back to fall.....

I so agree with you I love to keep the Harvest theme going until the week-end after Thanksgiving. I bought a little white pumpkin this year too, I don't think I would like all white, like you I like them mixed in !!!

Do you get much interest in people asking you to do cornucopia's ??? I happen to like them, if so would you consider a turorial on how to put one together ???

Have a great day,
Kathy :)

Hi, Donna, I just love white pumpkins too, since I really don't get into Halloween or much fall decorating at all, white is great for me.

As far as your hydrangeas blooming, I have no idea why you only got a few blooms. Mine were loaded this year. My bush will be 3 years old in March of next year & they really got big this year, so if your bush isn't that old yet, that might be the reason.

Donna, I just happened to see a show on hydrangeas and one of the ?'s was why just green leaves and no blossoms. She was told to move the plant to another location, the conditions have to suit the plant, one is enough sun. I think it was Martha's show, but not sure, you could try her site.

Take care,
Kathy :)

I like your blog! I was happy to find out you are new to blogging. I just found out about blogs a few weeks ago. I am in the process of drafting up my blog but I'm not ready to publish it yet. I decided to go with iWeb through the MOBILE ME website we have through our Apple laptop. What I like about it is you aren't on line until you push the publish button. However, the set up is a little different than Blogger or Typepad. I'm looking at as many different websites out there in Blogland as I can - and I must admit I'm having lots of fun. But at the same time it's scary because there are so many talented, witty women in Blogland and I will most likely look like a dummy.
