Snow on the Pumpkins

Say it isn’t so!

Snow on the Pumpkins 002

Snow on the Pumpkins 001

Yep, it’s October 10th.  Mother Nature has a sense of humor.  I’m definitely not ready for this.

No more autumn color and no doubt the leaves will rapidly fall off the trees now.

Wow! I can't even imagine. I'm in California and we are praying the heat will not return, because it's a crisp cool 73 degrees where I am. Have a great weekend!

Oh, Donna, I can't imagine having snow this early! I haven't even worn long sleeves yet! It's too bad that you won't have much fall color now that you've had a hard freeze. Mother Nature sure is crazy!

It really seems unfair that you are having snow and we are just now having cool enough temperatures to enjoy the outdoors. We are about to have our best time of the year and you are entering your worst. Hugs, Marty

Wow, Donna, that's unbelievable. It's barely cool here thanks to a front, um, maybe the one that brought you snow...by the time it got to TX, it was just some cooler air, but I am so thankful for it. Snow on the pumpkins...I always thought the saying went "frost on the pumpkins"!!!...Wowzers, girl. Thanks for showing us so us Texans can see snow again! ;)

Very pretty, but if you don't mind, could you keep that stuff up there for the 2009-2010 year? Thanks!

Oh My! This reminds me of New Mexico where we would often get snow storms beginning in September! Then the sun would come out and it would be gorgeous blue skies again, the snow would melt, and we'd enjoy more crisp fall weather.... strange, isn't it? I love autumn, just not what comes after it. Snow is pretty to look at, but the driving in it- I don't like. Hope your weather warms up and the snow melts away so you can enjoy a little more fall weather.
:-) Sue

Hi there! You have far more snow than us. It's pretty in the pics, but I'm not ready for it at all.

We got a few flakes yesterday, but the temps are too cold for me too early in the year!!!

Stay warm,
d from Kansas
