Fall Indoors with all It’s Glory

Today I finally removed all my unsold Silk Thumb floral to my workroom and concentrated on decorating my home for fall.

It helps to be hosting a Supper Club party two nights from now!

This is my entry table that I load up for the seasons.

I’ve had this perky witch for many years and she’s still a favorite of mine.

Don’t be alarmed, but do look closely at what crawled onto the pumpkin stem….

This decor is on the sofa table close to the entry.

Here is another angle looking towards the piano wall.

I love this “squished” shaped pumpkin!

My daughter and grandsons picked up the acorns for me to use.  They had to bake them as they discovered the acorns were home to some critter! :)  The little dried “pumpkins” are actually a dried small tomato.  Too cute!

Aren’t the glass jars that are in such high fashion so fun to decorate with?  The possibilities are endless I’m telling you!  They are easy pezy to change out with so many of our treasures!

Always be on your guard this time of year!!   Fall Deco Oct 2009

Notice my pictures above the piano and how well they blend in with my fall decor!  I love this metalic pumpkin!

This “Boo” lighted candle is a win from Susan at Between Naps on the Porch!!  I just love it Susan!!  By the way, I’m planning a Fall tablescape for Next Thursday!

I keep changing it around trying to decide just where I want it.  It has been all over the house!

I like it against my Cajun Red wall but then other times I think it shows up better against the khaki wall.

On towards the bathroom  ~~~~  this versitle little dish belonged to my mother in law.  For some reason I always seem to use in the bathroom, filling it with different things.  Sometimes I even wrap a small hand towel and tuck it in.  It always makes me think of her.

Does anyone have a problem with using faux fruit and veggies in the bathroom?  Not me!!   I just loved the addition of more texture and color to the guest towels.

I have more areas to share with you but I’ll save them for another day.

How are you coming along with your Fall Decor?  Are you like me?  Do you change it around continually until it’s time for the next season of decorating?  It’s a little addictive, isn’t it??

I enjoyed having you stop by for a few minutes.  Be sure to let me know you were here!

You have a Cajun red wall, Donna??!!!! I've always wanted a red wall...in my dining room, to stimulate conversation. Won't work in this house though. :( *sigh*

Your decorations & tables look wonderful & the whole theme seems to mesh well with your everyday colors.
That squished pumpkin is hilarious! LOL

Morning Donna! Just beautiful! I love this room anyway but with your touches of fall it looks even prettier! You should have left the acorn critters crawling for Halloween!lol (just kidding!) Funny I used to have a large tree that produced tons and tons of acorns and I never used them!! Now I have faux ones!!!lol Those pictures are gorgeous year round but do blend perfectly!!! Very pretty - enjoy your supper party!!!(or should I say hope you enjoyed!lol) Take care - Sincerely, Jeannette

Hi Donna,
Thank you for inviting us into your home. Everything looks so festive and inviting! Your metallic pumpkin is so sleek and stylish (probably my favorite of all the items you showed us). The large acorn on the entry table caught my eye as well.

Have a great weekend!

beautiful and inviting...love your decorations. That is too funny about the spider. He looked like he was trying to add something realistic to your vignette! eeek! Happy Autumn...it's a wonderful time of year. and yes, I change my decor around multiple times...and then I will again as I add Thanksgiving items! It's fun...it never ends!
