Christmas Continued

I've missed talking with all of you, but I AM totally enjoying this week. It is truly one of my favorite weeks of the year. All the Christmas hub bub is over and it's time to relax with family and really enjoy each other and the decorations. We have played lots of Scrabble, Kings on the Corner and Pitch.

My mother is here and one of my daughters just left last night. More company coming tonight.

I really look forward to catching up with everyone's blog in a few days. It will be fun to exchange New Year's organization tips and see what everyone has planned!

Happy New Year All!

I am so glad you are having a great week. That scrabble board brings back so many good memories. I miss playing it with my family. I do still have the game. But, my family is so far away.
"Happy New Year"

We love Scrabble, too, and a game called Quiddler. We also played a game my sons got, Settlers of Catan. When R&H are here, we almost always play games. I love that, too! Glad your week is relaxing....mine, too.

If you get the chance, would you come back over to my blog & leave me the name of the book you had on the top of your blog? I've been to 2 bookstores to try to find it, and for the life of me, I cannot find the comment you left me on my blog giving me the author's name. I saw it on another blogger's website, but can't remember which one. I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks for letting me know. I was in Bks a Million last night, and that was the only book I saw that looked like the one (I thought you had in your top photo) back in early Dec. or late Nov. Maybe I'm confusing you w/ someone else. I thought it was a book about Christmas decor, but apparently, it was a book about collecting, although I could be wrong! Have a great New Year! I'm "borrowing" a signal, so I can still look at blogs! :O)

WELL! I am smiling all over myself! I feel much better about using my faux flowers and dried flowers now. Actually beautiful faux flowers can cost a lot..but..it's a one time investment and getting the best can be worth it. I just loved hearing someone say it though. Also, thanks for your sweet visit. I appreciated it SO much. I SHALL return! Lots to see at your house.

Donna! I just have to ask you about the Christmas china in the photo...where did you get it? I have the very same set that I bought in a little shop before we were married but mine has no markings.
