Hope for Spring in the form of Faux

As you can see, I have been playing around with my blog layout and not having much luck.  I do believe I am the only one in Blog land without a cute background.  Well I have wasted more time and it still isn’t right.  Are there other places to chose a template besides blogger?  Do we actually need a template?  Thanks for any thoughts.

In the meantime I am preparing for a very large shipment that arrived yesterday afternoon!  It is full of SPRING!

I have been sorting and straightening

And trying to organize a room that is overwhelming

And a closet full of containers

Uncovering treasures that were tucked away.

Remember the Bunnies on a Stick?  I hoarded a few for this year too !

Ahhh, who doesn’t love the change of Seasons?

Especially after the winter most of us have had!

Welcome Tulips, Forsythia stems and Lilacs!

It’s suppose to get up into the 30’s for the next seven days!  There is hope!

Thanks for stopping by 47th Street

I loved the glimpse of your container closet! All those great shapes and colors ... many of them could inspire an entire tablescape!
You have some of the prettiest fauxs I've ever seen. Do you ever mix them in with flowers from the garden?

Hope your weekend goes well.

I LOVE SEEING ALL YOUR DIFFERENT CONTAINERS AND YES, I REMEMBER THE CUTE BUNNIES. I SAW JONQUILS BLOOMING IN A NEIGHBOR'S YARD AND I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO SPRING! HAVE A GREAT EVENING.

I would love to get into your basement to poke around. You have the best stuff - so much nicer that what the average joe can get at Michaels.

I think this background is really cute! But I know what you mean about wanting one of those really awesome looking blogs like so many have. Well they are a lot smarter than I am and have way more time than I do....still yours looks better than mine. There are some really nice ladies out there and I know one of them will get you fixed up.

Morning Donna! First I think this blog decor is adorable and says "Spring"!(but what do I know with my boring grey!I was changing it and got a virus so I'm leavin it alone for now!lol) It is fun to see where you begin your florals! I guess we just look at their beauty and don't think much about what you are doing behind the scenes! To me this would be WOW playtime!lol What a selection to choose from - beats Michaels!!!lol Well keep cranking out those beauties; besides it looks pretty organized from here! Have a great day designing! Sincerely, Jeannette

Donna, I have used Cutest Blog on the Block and the Background Fairy before- http://www.backgroundfairy.com
But now that I use Live Writer instead of Blogger, I don't use a background at all.
How fun to have an entire room/closet or two dedicated to goodies for tablescapes and arrangements. I parcel my junk out into two closets and lose things all the time!
I'm looking forward to spring and better weather and attitude for me! LOL
hugs, Sue

Wow...all those containers are AWESOME. I love your beautiful fauxs!! :O)

Not sure why you were thinking this isn't a good time for Pink Saturday. The thing is, you have to let Beverly know a few days ahead so she can get you added to her list. I hope you will join in Pink Sat. sometime. It's a lot of fun!

What a FUN play/work room you have, Donna! I am seriously jealous & coveting that white artichoke looking one on the tippy-top shelf. How cool!
Endless possibilities & so much fun, too.
Now you'll have me out looking for bunnies on a stick. LOL
