Did you wonder if I got buried inside of a box of flowers?
Or our ongoing winter winds took me away to someplace warm??
No, I've been here all along ~~ just trying to be disciplined and work hard on arrangements for my upcoming spring show. It is next week and I still have oodles of arrangements I want to put together.
~ Here are just a few I've been working on ~
Around the time of my shows, my house takes on a store appearance. Mr. Brown Socks closes his eyes to the whole transformation and tries not to sit on a plant. Bless his little heart. He has put up with this home based business for twenty years.
Most of the time while working Miss Maggie tries to keep me company
It is sometimes so hard for her to keep her eyes open.
Sorry this picture is sideways, but here is a grass plant out of the packaging straight as a stick ~~~
If you take your scissors and pretend the ends are curling ribbon, you get a much more natural feel for the grass.
See how it curls the ends and makes it look more natural? I tried to curl with scissors and take a picture at the same time, but I'm not that coordinated!
It's okay to leave some straight and some curly....much more real this way.....
Spring is just a couple of days away!

Well, you are a talented faux florist and I love them all. In my home every plant is fake because I am a serial plant killer.
Have a great Monday

thanks so much for stopping by to visit my little birds...lol oh my, your arrangements are beautiful. Sometimes i have fresh flowers in my home, but i also have no problem using nice faux flowers, and in the past week i have heard two designers that actually had no problem recommending faux flowers. I love what you did with the grass.
