When we moved into our new home two years ago, our youngest daughter was still living at home. She came running into the kitchen one morning yelling, "Mom come quick!!" This is what was peering into her bathroom window. We have a walkout basement so this was at ground level. We could not get over how he was just peeking in the window like nobody's business. We officially called him the "Peepin' Tom". We kept hearing a funny noise coming from the next room and there was yet another Tom peeking in that window. He was HUGE but I didn't get his picture.
Yesterday my husband and I watched a flock of about 15 out in the woods behind us. They must be on the run!
As excited as I am for the approaching Christmas season, there is a part of me that hates to give up the deep fall colors, full of richness and warmth.

How cute.. a "peeping tom".. We had about 20 of them on the west side of the house last week. A few years ago I got my husband a turkey feeder and they come up by the droves to eat the crushed corn..we have not had one come this close though..I love all your fall decor... it will be sad to say goodbye to it for yet another year won't it? But I love decorating for Christmas. I'm so glad you found me.. I'll put you on my list of stops each day.:-)

Yes, they do make a turkey/deer feeder. I believe I got this one thru Sportsmans Guide catalog.. But dh just told me you might be able to find one at Cabelo's not sure if I spelled that right..lol
It runs on 3 "huge" batteries. They are so much fun to watch them come up at the same time each day. It spins out ever so often and it's on the ground for them to just eat and eat. Keep me posted, I hope you locate one for your hubby. hugs ~lynne~

Hi, Donna, thanks for stopping by. Yep, you guessed it, I did come home empty handed. I have to be really particular about what I bring home these days, there's just no more room.
